I’m an Economics student who never quite decided what he wanted to do and ended up spending a lot of time thinking about how we make decisions. This site, and my Substack, are an attempt to make the various things I’ve written more accessible to people who are interested but don’t want to thrash about in the theoretical weeds.

I also spent a year back at St John’s College, Oxford, researching its financial history and writing a book about what I discovered – which was much more interesting than it sounds! You can get a copy here.
